Velocidad de creación vs consumo
¿Porqué el proceso de crear un libro lleva más tiempo que el proceso de digerirlo? - al menos en varios casos - quizá cuando nos enfrentamos a un libro de texto o científico el caso sea diferente.
Algunas de mis respuestas a esta pregunta son:
... porque el proceso de creación es mucho más complicado que el proceso de lectura o estudio.
... porque el autor tiene que dedicar tiempo a investigar, a reflexionar sobre lo que encuentra y en base a ello escribe sus ideas y conclusiones. El libro nos presenta ideas digeridas o explicaciones simples que el autor tuvo que procesar primero como ideas complejas.
... porque crear implica imaginar cosas no existentes, darles forma, estructura, vida ... y al leer aunque podemos también imaginar lo hacemos guiado por el autor, ya no estamos creando algo nuevo de la nada, lo hacemos sobre las ideas que estamos leyendo.
... porque el autor tiene que escribir borradores de ideas, darles estructura y cambiarles la forma conforme edita y lo vuelve a hacer, escribe varias líneas, se regresa, las cambia, agrega o quita palabras, borra párrafos que no le gustan, empieza de nuevo ... Es un proceso complejo, no lineal, caótico hasta cierto punto. Leer es un proceso lineal en su mayoría que si el autor hizo su trabajo será agradable entregarse al mismo para viajar por la historia o las ideas con la mente que está aprendiendo cosas nuevas y en muchos casos divertidas.
